Nathan Miller

Short professional bio

Nathan Miller is Professor at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and Department of Economics. Currently, he is on leave while serving as the Chief Economist of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. He is an editor at the Journal of Law and Economics, an associate editor at the International Journal of Industrial Organization, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research covers topics in the fields of industrial organization and antitrust economics. Before joining Georgetown University, Professor Miller was an economist at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
